Preview your SpicyChat character
SpicyChat characters are TavernCard files — drop one below for an instant, accurate preview of her profile. The card is uploaded once to generate the preview and is not saved. Chatting as an imported character is not available.
On SpicyChat, open your character's settings → Export character → save the card file.
What is a SpicyChat import?
SpicyChat exports the same SillyTavern-family TavernCard as the rest of this list — a chara_card_v2/v3 PNG or .json. If a character was built on SpicyChat or imported there from somewhere else, the card underneath is standard, and Desire AI's parser reads it the same way it reads a Janitor or Chub card.
SpicyChat is already hosted (no proxy setup, unlike SillyTavern), so the practical reason to move a card isn't the hosting model — it's everything past the character sheet: message limits, moderation posture, and pricing.
What carries over
- Name and description-derived appearance summary
- Personality and scenario text
- The opening message
- Up to five example dialogue exchanges
- Tags, reclassified into Desire AI's taxonomy
- A system prompt, when the card includes one
- Content rating inferred from the card's tags
What doesn't transfer
- Persona/memory settings you configured on SpicyChat — those live in SpicyChat's own account layer, not in the card file
- Alternate greetings past the first
- Lorebook/world-info entries, if the card carries any
- Chat history — the export is the character definition only
- Any purchased tokens, credits, or subscription entitlement — those don't move between platforms
How to preview your SpicyChat character
- 1.On SpicyChat, open the character's settings → Export character → save the card file.
- 2.Drop the file on the import box below.
- 3.Review the preview built from the card's own fields.
- 4.The card is uploaded once to build the preview and is not saved — nothing is stored server-side at this step.
- 5.Chatting as an imported character is not available. Browse Desire AI’s existing companions to start a new conversation.
