Character preview
SpicyChat characters are TavernCard files — Desire AI reads them directly in your browser. Drop the card below for an instant, accurate preview of her profile. Chatting as her needs an account, which we're wiring next.
On SpicyChat, open your character's settings → Export character → save the card file.
SpicyChat exports the same SillyTavern-family TavernCard as the rest of this list — a chara_card_v2/v3 PNG or .json. If a character was built on SpicyChat or imported there from somewhere else, the card underneath is standard, and Desire AI's parser reads it the same way it reads a Janitor or Chub card.
SpicyChat is already hosted (no proxy setup, unlike SillyTavern), so the practical reason to move a card isn't the hosting model — it's everything past the character sheet: message limits, moderation posture, and pricing.
SpicyChat already supports TavernCard import and export, which is exactly why a card built there travels cleanly — the format compatibility isn't Desire AI's doing, it's the ecosystem's. The reasons people look for an alternative tend to sit above the card layer: message-per-day caps on free tiers, subscription pricing for full access beyond that, and a moderation policy that, like most hosted platforms in this space, sets the actual ceiling on what a character can say regardless of how carefully the card itself is written.
If the card is fine and the friction is what's layered on top of it — a cap, a paywall, a filter — an import that keeps the character intact while changing the platform underneath is the whole point of this page rather than a reason to rebuild her from scratch somewhere else.
Worth saying plainly: this page doesn't claim SpicyChat's card handling is broken. It isn't. The pitch here is narrower — bring the character you already built, and evaluate Desire AI's hosting, pricing and moderation trade-offs on their own terms instead of rebuilding her to test the water.
