What Desire AI is
Desire AI is a hosted adult AI companion chat product. Browse a roster of fictional characters — anime, babes, and men, each with their own gallery and profile — and start a private 1-on-1 conversation directly in your browser. There is nothing to install: no app, no extension, no client to keep updated. Every character has a distinct personality, backstory, and voice that carries across a conversation instead of resetting on every message, so a chat from yesterday still remembers what you told it.
Who it's for
Desire AI is built for adults, 18 and over, who are legally able to view mature fictional content where they live. It is not a therapy tool, a real-person impersonation service, or a substitute for human relationships — characters are AI-generated fiction, and the product is designed and gated accordingly. If you are under 18, do not use this site.
How it works
Browsing is open: you can look through characters and their profiles without confirming your age first. Starting a conversation is the part that's gated — pick a character, confirm you're 18+ at the age gate, and chat. The current preview is free: no account, wallet, or card is required to try it. Everything runs in the browser tab you're already in, on desktop or mobile, with no download and no waiting on an app-store review. Paid membership options are planned but not live yet; if and when they launch, pricing and payment terms will be shown up front, before any purchase, and the payment method under consideration is crypto rather than a card processor — see Trust for why.
Privacy stance
The age gate is built to fail closed, not open: if the verification step itself breaks, the request is sent to the age gate rather than let through silently. Separately, chat message content is not logged as part of the product's privacy architecture. Messages are still sent to the AI providers that generate replies — that's how the chat works — and provider routing can change for reliability, cost, and safety. Adult-first, with published boundaries
Characters are fictional adults. Adult roleplay is supported within a published legal and safety floor — see our Safety Center for the specifics: no minors, no real-person sexual content, no doxxing, no self-harm encouragement, no real-world-harm instructions. Those boundaries are enforced by automated checks in the chat pipeline, not left to a prompt instruction a character could talk its way around — the mechanics are on the Trust page.

The roster spans anime, babes, and men, browsable by category from Discover or as a full list on Companions. Where we're headed
