Privacy Policy

Desire AI is free for now after the 18+ gate. We do not require an account, wallet, email, or payment to use the current chat flow. We may process device and browser information, age-gate state, usage events, chat content you send, character choices, and basic abuse-prevention signals such as IP-derived rate-limit data. Chat history is stored against a guest identifier so you can resume a conversation in the same browser. We also collect your answers to optional in-app questions and use behavior-based preference tags (for example which characters you chat with most) to improve characters.

We measure which pages are visited and which site referred the visit, using PostHog, Clicky, and Google Analytics. Google Analytics receives the page path and the referring site. It does not receive chat messages, names, or pictures. Google advertising features and Google signals are off. See the Cookie Policy for how to limit this.

After a longer chat we may ask whether the character can message you when you are away. Saying yes is optional and the chat works the same if you say no. If you choose browser notifications, we store the notification address your browser gives us. That is not your email address, and the message is delivered through your browser's push service. If you choose email, we store your email address and send one confirmation link; nothing else is sent until you confirm. Our email provider, Resend, delivers those messages for us.

We store the address together with your guest identifier, the character and conversation it belongs to, your time zone, and when messages were sent. We use it only to send short, non-explicit messages from that character, at most three in a row while you do not reply, and only during daytime hours where you are. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for anything else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn browser notifications off in your browser at any time. After you unsubscribe we send nothing more. To have the address deleted, email hello@desireai.app.

We use data to operate the service, provide AI responses, improve quality, prevent abuse, enforce age and safety rules, debug errors, and prepare optional membership features if they launch later.

Messages may be sent to model providers or media providers so the app can generate replies and operate approved character-media features. Do not share sensitive personal information in chats.

We keep operational records only as needed to run the service, prevent abuse, debug errors, and satisfy legal obligations. If ETH memberships or accounts launch later, payment or account records will be handled under the terms shown at that time. You can request deletion or export of data associated with you by emailing hello@desireai.app.
