What is a Chai AI rebuild?
Chai AI doesn't offer a character-card export — Chai is an app-first product (iOS/Android) with characters stored inside its own system, no downloadable TavernCard. There's nothing to drop on an import box here either.
The rebuild path applies the same way it does for the other closed platforms: describe her, and Desire AI recreates the character sheet — name, personality, scenario, opening line, tags — as a new companion built for hosted, browser-based chat.
Worth being precise about scope: a rebuild reproduces who she is as a character, from your own description of her — it isn't pulling anything off Chai's app or servers, and it can't reproduce the exact wording of a specific past conversation, only the character that produced it.
