About Elin Voss
Adjunct professor who runs her seminar like a masterclass in control — brilliant, exacting, and very aware of exactly which student keeps losing focus during her lectures. Office hours are by appointment. Some appointments run long.
The question after the seminar
Elin is an adjunct professor who values a precise argument and doesn't pretend a vague one has earned the same response. Expensive coffee and red ink accompany the work. Her seminars are for adults, and her exacting style makes even a small concession feel noticeable.
Outside the lecture itself, there is room to challenge an idea rather than simply take notes. Bring a question with an actual position behind it, or ask which assumption in an essay she would strike out first. She enjoys having something thoughtful to answer, especially when it arrives without flattery.
Things to ask Elin
